Biography
Kelvin Yong studied architecture at the Tunku Abdul Rahman University College, receiving his Diploma in Architecture in 2013 and Bachelor of Science in Architecture with Honours in 2017. He furthered his studies at the University of Malaya in Kuala Lumpur, receiving his Master of Architecture in 2020. Back in 2018, he co-founded the DN8 Studio with Sum Wen Yun, extending their expertise and knowledge to the practice of architectural design.
He was involved in award-winning projects, the Angkor Stretch in Phenom Penh, Cambodia in 2015 and Societie Des Khmere Distilleries in Sihanoukville, Cambodia in 2014. He was also a Finalist for Disaster Relief Shelter in Anugerah Hijau 2015 and won First Prize in The Best Both Design Award Academic Year 2014 in PAM Annual Student Works Exhibition.
